Oklahoma City leaders are creating a plan to prevent deadly or serious crashes in the Oklahoma City metro.
They said between 2016 and 2020 there were 420 deadly crashes in our state, ranking Oklahoma the fourth highest in the nation.
City officials said they are working on an $800,000 plan, funded by a grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation.
It's expected to take about 18 months to develop.
