Starting today, Positive Tomorrows is hosting its annual "Merry Market” which gives the families they serve an opportunity to shop for Christmas gifts at no cost.

This is how they make sure all their families can have a Christmas experience. The parents get to "shop" around for a gift for their child and the children get to "shop" for a gift for mom and dad.

President and CEO of Positive Tomorrows, Susan Agel, said some of these families may not have a Christmas if it weren't for this event and the impact goes beyond just one day.

"The work that we do is lifelong, it lasts a long time. Kids remember this from today on, so it is important to our community it is important to the future of community as children grow up and they become moms and dads."

Positive Tomorrows needs your help to make this holiday special.

They have the kids toys they need but they still need present wrapping supplies like wrapping paper, tape, ribbon, large trash bags.

They still need some adult gifts, things that children can "purchase" for their parents, volunteers and they need food and snacks to serve to the families.

If you would like to donate you can call Positive Tomorrows call 405-556-5082 or email them at info@positivetomorrows.org.

This event is not open to the public to attend.
