Police Investigate Overnight Shooting At Tulsa Apartment Complex

Investigators say a man is in custody after a shooting at the Wood Creek Apartments near Highway 244 and Garnett.

Police say they got the call just after midnight on Monday night.

Officers say a man came to a woman’s apartment and began making several threatening comments and motions.

Police say the man also had a homemade knife with him.

That’s when another man inside the apartment shot the visitor in his ear.

The man who was shot then left and went to a hospital.

According to TPD, the man was placed in custody after being released from the hospital.

Officers said he’s facing assault and burglary charges and the shooter will not be charged.
