OKC Police Car Struck By Drunk Driver While Responding To Fatal Crash

Oklahoma City police was on the scene of two crashes Saturday morning with one involving a police officer.

Police say a silver car was speeding when it crashed into a semi-truck and spun out and striking a pillar under the I-40 bridge. The driver of that car died at the scene. Police said the passenger has serious injuries.

While police were investigating the scene an officer was struck by a drunk driver inside his unit.

That officer is OK and that driver is in custody.
