Officials with the State Health Department say they're pleased with how the vaccine portal is performing.
They know there's a huge amount of demand for the shot but want Oklahomans to realize the limited number of appointments is not due to staffing but a lack of the vaccine.
"We align appointments based off of what we know we have in inventory and what we're receiving," said Keith Reed of the Oklahoma State Department of Health.
Officials say if you've registered on the portal recently but did not a confirmation email don't worry because there is an intentional delay that's designed to keep the system from getting bogged down. Do not try to re-sign up using the same email.
