Veteran Salute: Gerry Rouse

We're recognizing the brave men and women who have served our country.

On Oct. 21, we want to salute Gerry Rouse.

Rouse served as a Marine for 22 years.

Rouse was nominated by his son who said his father said the military is his life and and that all military men and women are family.

He often invites servicemen and women who can't go home over to his home for holiday dinners.

Now retired, Rouse works closely with fellow veterans suffering from PTSD in the Mighty Oaks Program.

Thank you, Gerry, for your years of service to our country, our troops and our veterans.
