Investigators said a fire that damaged three Tulsa homes Friday afternoon is being investigated as suspicious.

Tulsa Fire Chief Michael Baker said this was the second time the house, near 67th and Peoria, caught fire in just the past few months.

The house was boarded up with a no trespassing sign and was labeled as ‘not fit for habitation.’ Chief Baker said when his crews arrived, the fire was coming from the garage, but got so large it spread to two neighboring homes, affecting their roofs. It took about 20 minutes to get the fire under control.

There were people in the two neighboring homes, but everyone made it out safely and nobody was hurt.
