The Oklahoma Public Schools District announced Monday during a board meeting its plan to return to a traditional format for the upcoming school year.
The 2020-2021 is set to begin August 10.
School officials said a virtual learning option will be available for 3rd through 12th grade thanks to a new investment in technology.
The meeting is ongoing. The board also decided face masks would be required for all staff and visitors. OKCPS said masks will be made available to students who are encouraged to wear them.
