One Pot Sausage & Pepper Pasta


  1. 1 pound Italian sausage
  2. 1 onion, thinly sliced
  3. 1 red or green pepper, thinly sliced
  4. 1 bunch fresh basil
  5. 2 cloves garlic, minced
  6. 2 cups chicken stock or broth
  7. 1 cup whipping cream
  8. 1 pound uncooked pasta, (your choice)
  9. 1 cup shredded mozzarella
  10. 1/2 cup parents cheese, grated


  1. In a large Dutch oven or in an oversized sauté pan, cook the Italian sausage until lightly browned.
  2. Add the chicken stock, onions, peppers, garlic, fresh basil and pasta.
  3. Put a lid on the pan and cook for 15 minutes over medium high heat.
  4. Remove the lid and stir in the whipping cream, Parmesan cheese, and mozzarella cheese.
  5. Allow this to cook until the sauce thickens.
  6. Serve hot!
