Frisbee Event Raises Money

TULSA, OK -- Frisbees for food was the idea behind Saturday's local disc golf tournament.

More than 100 people participated in the 14th annual Tulsa Ice Bowl, a disc golf competition to raise money for the Oklahoma Food Bank.

Participants gathered in Chandler Park for some Frisbee fun, all for a good cause.

"They tell us that a dollar cash will leverage seven to nine meals for every dollar received, so this is a really good fundraiser at a very needy time," participant David Wise said.
