The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a semi truck went off the highway on the Will Rogers Turnpike Wednesday evening, killing the driver.
The wreck happened across the road from where an SUV crashed into the frozen Spring River back in February 2011, killing three people.

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol said the wreck happened just before 7:30 p.m.
Troopers say the truck was eastbound and for an unknown reason drove off the road, striking an embankment causing the truck to go airborne, hitting a fence and then slamming into a tree.
The impact with the tree caused an explosion and fire.
The OHP says the driver was pinned in the wreckage for over 3 hours. Firefighters had to put the fire out and wait for the cab area to cool down before reaching the driver's body.
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Troopers say the unidentified driver was the only occupant of the truck.
