Some new gear has been attached to the backs of two baby bald eagles by the Sutton Avian Research Center.

Sutton workers attached satellite transmitters to the eagles' backs. They hope to use the solar-powered transmitters to track the chicks for up to five years.

The eagles are on a nest in Sooner Lake near Stillwater.

The experts at the center, which is in Bartlesville, say they expect the two birds to take their first flights soon.
