A Bartlesville man is scheduled to be sentenced November 13 after he pleaded guilty this week to charges of tattooing a 10-year-old girl with ink that contained human ashes.
Washington County prosecutors charged Brandon Brown, 31, with unlawful tattooing and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Police said Brown admitted he was not a licensed tattoo artist.
Court records show the girl's mother, Jennifer Wilson, 31, of Bartlesville, who is charged with one count of child neglect has a court appearance set for November 15.
