The Woody Guthrie Center in Tulsa will open a new exhibit featuring photographs of rocker Bruce Springsteen. Springsteen, a modern American storyteller who lists Guthrie as a key influence, has a recording career of over 40 years.
The majority of the photos focus on the off-stage Springsteen, according to the GRAMMY Museum, but others were shot during Springsteen concerts.
The exhibit opens at 6 p.m. April 29 with a round table discuss at 7:30 p.m. with the photographers and GRAMMY Museum Executive Director Bob Santelli.
Admission is $25 with proceeds benefiting the Wood Guthrie Center's education programs. The Center is located in Tulsa's Brady Arts District opposite the southwest corner of Guthrie Green, 102 East Brady Street.
