The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says a motorcycle rider lay in the median of a Catoosa highway for at least an hour Friday morning before someone noticed he had crashed.
Captain George Brown says the rider left Pryor on Highway 412 at about 4:30 a.m. and crashed some time between 5:15 and 5:30 a.m.
Troopers say no one noticed the wrecked motorcycle until an hour later, after the sun came up.
The OHP said the rider, Marc Mowery, 44, of Atlanta, Michigan was alert and talking when an ambulance crew took him to a Tulsa hospital.
Mowery told troopers a SUV cut in front of him, forcing him off the road into the median.
Troopers says he was admitted to the hospital with head, arm and leg injuries.
