The Oklahoma Highway Patrol has released the name of the man who drowned Sunday at Eufaula Cove in McIntosh County.

The drowning victim is 24-year-old Casey Reilly of Temecula, California.

Reilly was swimming away from shore approximately 150 feet from shore when he went under and never resurfaced, the OHP report said.

The OHP's marine division searched Sunday afternoon and night until dark, and they resumed their search as soon as the sun came up Monday morning.

Reilly's body was recovered at about 7:40 a.m. Monday in seven feet of water using dragging operations and side scan, troopers said.

A News On 6 viewer said family members were on the scene as the troopers searched for Reilly.

Eufaula police assisted in the search.
