Sand Springs Burglary Suspect Captured On Roof Of Plumbing Business

A burglary suspect in Sand Springs is in jail after being captured on the roof of a plumbing business. The suspect has been identified as 31-year-old Alex Milner.

Police responded after an alarm went off at 2 a.m. Monday at Wilson and Son Pawn. They thought they heard a suspect inside and found tools around the door.

Police surrounded the strip mall and searched several buildings including a print shop and plumbing business. They were working off an indication from a police dog that someone was inside, but they couldn't find him.

Police said say when the plumbing business opened, the workers heard the suspect who came out onto the roof of the building. They called police back in, and Milner was taken into custody.

Milner told them he had been hiding in an HVAC closet, according to officers.
