Vanasa R. Swaissi, 25, was found by police near a white car which was running around 4:20 p.m.
OCPD Homicide detectives believe the victim was shot by two robbers after giving them a ride from an unknown location.
Swaissi also had a female friend inside the vehicle at the time of the shooting who managed to escape without being hurt.
The suspects were seen running away from the apartment complex just north west of the scene. Police are looking for two teenage black males, wearing white t-shirts and blue jeans.
Resident Denzel Stevenson and his sister, Cheyenne Stevenson, said they can't believe the woman was killed right in front of their home.
