Authorities are looking for a woman who tried to obtain drugs with a forged prescription at a pharmacy in Edmond On January 31, 2012.
Edmond police responded to the incident at about 9:30 p.m. that day, at a Walgreens pharmacy, located at 185 E. 33rd Street in Edmond.
Police said a woman was trying to get Opana pills at the pharmacy with a prescription. The pharmacist talked to the doctor who confirmed the prescription was forged.
The pharmacist said the woman dropped the prescription off and left. When she returned, the pharmacist told her they were short on the pills, and called police. The woman then went and sat in the waiting area, according to the pharmacist.
However, officers did not find the suspect as they arrived. They obtained a copy of the prescription and checked the Texas driver's license number on it. Police said it came back to a different name and an older lady.
The suspect is described as a white female with dark hair. She was wearing a gray sweatshirt, black pants, and glasses.
