The powerful storm system we've been talking about for more than a week finally moves into Oklahoma Wednesday morning. The way it looks right now, we're preparing for two rounds of rain and storms.
The first will likely be a couple of hours after midnight. A few strong storms will be likely with these before they move out around noon.
Then, a second round will move through in the afternoon and evening. These will have the potential at producing strong and severe thunderstorms into the evening and overnight through Thursday morning. The primary threats will be heavy rain, 1 to 2" locally, damaging winds, large hail, and the outside chance of an isolated tornado.
The system will finally move out Thursday morning into the early afternoon, setting up a dry, cool Halloween night.
