Severe storms in Central Oklahoma have caused significant damage, Thursday evening. 

Tennis ball and baseball sized hail thrashed through several counties. 

In Norman, high winds ripped down power lines at 48th and Robinson along west I-35. The area has been blocked and crews are working to clear the scene.

Also, the Cleveland County YMCA reported windows being blown out during the hail storm. A few children in the after school program were already in a storm shelter at the time of the damage.

In Oklahoma City, it was reported to News 9 that the basement area of the Capitol is flooding.
