Severe Weather in the forecast! The sunshine hides behind the clouds Sunday as rain chances increase after lunchtime.
Throughout Sunday, scattered showers with a few storms are possible. No severe weather is expected. The thunderstorm activity will be kept to a minimum.
Monday, scattered showers and storms are likely throughout the day. By evening, there’s a chance of severe weather. A dry line will move out of the Texas and Oklahoma panhandle into western Oklahoma. Supercell thunderstorm development appears likely as the dry line moves into the state. The individual storms will pose the highest tornado threat. It's not a high threat, but a threat either way.
The storms will merge into a line of severe storms that will march through central OK, including OKC, overnight Monday into Tuesday. Large hail and damaging wind will be the main threats.
