A weak boundary sweeps through Wednesday night allowing for a very slight chance of rain in north and western Oklahoma. Otherwise, partly cloudy skies are expected for the rest of us with temperatures dropping to around 40 degrees.

Christmas Eve is looking cool and quiet with highs in the mid-50s under mostly sunny skies.

Christmas Day is expected to be even warmer with temperatures topping out in the low 60s under partly cloudy skies.

We are still monitoring a powerful storm that is headed our way for the weekend. Right now it looks like showers and storms are likely on Saturday with colder air moving in on Sunday. This will transition rain to a rain, sleet, and snow mix for central Oklahoma with blizzard conditions to our west.

The timing and exact placement of each type of precipitation could still change so stay tuned. Either way, travel will be hazardous if not impossible on Sunday and early Monday.
