EDMOND, Okla. -- The missing statue hundreds of Girl Scouts raised money to pay for has been found, officials said.
The 400 pound statue was found late last night in Hafer Park.
Police said it vanished from Mitch Park in Edmond on Thursday night or Friday morning.
Police believe the thieves wanted to cut it up and sell the scrap metal. They can make about $1,000 off of the artwork.
Chad Griffin Alexander, 18-years-old, was arrested last night around midnight. He is charged with a felony of concealing stolen property.
