Holly and Clint Newsom's wedding was everything they'd expected.
She was the beautiful bride. He was the grateful groom.
"It couldn't have been more special," the groom said. "It was picture-perfect. I had the perfect girl and we and the perfect day."
Wanting pictures of the big day, the couple hired Christian Sangree to photograph the wedding.
But shortly after capturing Holly and Clint's nuptials, Sangree's car was broken into and his cameras and memory cards holding the wedding pictures were stolen.
At the time of the robbery the couple was honeymooning in Hawaii. They had no idea their wedding photos were gone until they got home.
"When we got back and heard the news, it was kind of hard to react," Clint Newsom said.
With the Newsroms certain their wedding pictures were gone for good, Sangree said he didn't know how to react when he got a phone call Tuesday say someone had found the camera bag with the memory cards.
"I almost thought it was an April Fool's joke because it was April 1," Sangree said. "It would have been a terrible joke."
The Newsoms said they were grateful to get the photos.
"We didn't' think we'd see them again honestly," Clint Newsom said.
