Another weekend, a beautifully, warm weekend in the bag - time to take on the upcoming workweek.
One thing Mother Nature will not be throwing our way this week is wind. Winds will stay around 10-20 mph Monday through Friday; of course there will be some change in direction with a cold front or two gliding through.
The first cold front may offer up a few showers and isolated storms over the northern part of the state Tuesday. The chance for showers and storms will increase to 30% Wednesday and Thursday, as a broad upper-level storm system breaks apart and travels eastward over the Central and Northern Plains.
Daytime highs will stay warm Monday and Tuesday; 80s, before cooling off into the 70s for the remainder of the week. Overnight lows will be comfortable; 50s and 60s.
