OKLAHOMA CITY -- October is breast cancer awareness month, and every woman, young and old, needs to be aware of this disease.
Nearly 200,000 women will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer (BRCA) and 40,000 will die. The additional 60,000 women will be diagnosed with very early breast cancers.
With so many women combating this disease every year, annual screenings are not the only steps women need to take.
