This weekend reminded us that we are indeed in the month of February, and February's chill. The beginning of the work week will remind us that we live in the state of Oklahoma, where the weather changes almost daily it seems.
An approaching low pressure system will result in gusty, warm southerly winds Monday and Tuesday. Along with the warmer, dry conditions will come the elevated risk of wildfires for central and western Oklahoma; especially Tuesday afternoon. Showers and thunderstorms will be possible across east Oklahoma Tuesday afternoon through Tuesday night, before the system clears the region Wednesday.
Conditions will cool as Canadian air once again reclaims its lost territory on Wednesday and Thursday.
