OKLAHOMA CITY -- An apartment fire forced nine families from their homes Tuesday.
The fire started on a balcony at the Stone Brook Apartments on Britton Road and spread to the attic and the roof. It happened as most people were just settling in for the night.
"Lot of people here in the evening, so we're lucky we didn't have any injuries reported right now," Oklahoma City Deputy Fire Chief Cecil Clay said.
The Red Cross and the apartment complex is helping those displaced by the fire. Investigators are still investigating the cause.
