OKLAHOMA CITY -- A gradual warm up is in store for Oklahoma from now into the weekend. However, southerly winds will be increasing climbing up to 15 to 30 mph with higher gusts for an extended period.
With respect to rain and thunderstorms, the most likely time period will be late Sunday and Monday. A few of the thunderstorms may be severe. However, the storm system is still out over the Pacific Ocean so timing and intensity will most likely change from how it looks right now.
There is also a slight chance of a few showers Friday and Saturday.
