NORMAN, Oklahoma -- Police are now calling the search for a missing Norman man a city-wide rescue mission.

Flyers are all over the city of Norman in hopes that someone will help find the man dozens of people are searching for right now.

In the midst of the everyday routine, there's one family on Vine Street more focused on their father now than never before. That's because no one knows where John Santos is. The 71-year-old suffers from Alzheimer's and hasn't been taking his medicine.

"He may appear to be dazed, confused. He's a very approachable, friendly man and will strike up a conversation with anybody," said Sara Santos, John Santos' daughter.

Police are swarming the area using dogs and search teams to help find Santos. Friends, families and neighbors are also pitching in.

"Oh it's wonderful. Wonderful. It's what is keeping me going," Sara Santos said.

Across town, Zac Santos spent hours on foot with his friends, combing every street, every alley, saying he was worried, but optimistic.

"I'm a little bit of both. I can't help but to worry, but I have to stay positive," said Zac Santos, John Santos' son.

John Santos grew up on the south side of Oklahoma City, so the family is asking anyone living along Southwest 64th Street to also keep an eye out for him and if he's spotted, call police immediately.
