Search for Oklahoma City Home Invasion Suspect Ends

Oklahoma City police have ended a search for a home invasion suspect in the northwest part of the city. No arrests were made and the perimeter around the area was lifted.

OKLAHOMA CITY – Oklahoma City police have ended a search for a home invasion suspect in the northwest part of the city. No arrests were made and the perimeter around the area was lifted.

Officers started chasing the man near N.W. 34th Street and Florida Avenue, but lost sight of him near N.W. 35th Street and McKinley Avenue.

Police said it is unclear if the suspect was armed.

The suspect is described as a black male approximately 20 years old. He is wearing dark pants and a dark shirt, with another shirt underneath.

Putnam Heights Elementary School was on lock down during the search.
