Tank Pump on Oil Rig Ignites in Southeast Oklahoma City

OKLAHOMA CITY -- Firefighters quickly extinguished a tank pump fire at an oil rig in southeast Oklahoma City.

The oil rig was in a residential area located in the 300 block of S.E. 55th Street.

A representative with the company that owns the rig it headed to the area to shut it down.

No injuries were reported.
