ENID, Oklahoma -- The third time was the charm for two armed robbery suspects who hit three Enid convenience stores early Tuesday morning.
The first call police responded to was at the One Stop Shop at 1606 W. Willow. Police say the two suspects attempted to rob the store but were unsuccessful and fled.
About an hour later, the two men tried to rob the Main Street Mini Mart at 1602 E. Main in Enid. Police say the suspects walked in and demanded cash, but left with nothing.
Fifteen minutes later the two hit the On Cue store at 1623 S. Van Buren. This time the armed suspects were able to get away with an undisclosed amount of cash.
Both suspects are believed to be white males that are in their late teens or early twenties.
Enid Police are actively investigating leads.
"This type of violent criminal activity will not be tolerated in our community" stated Enid Police Chief Brian O'Rourke.
