Kelly Ogle, News 9
Tonight I share a couple of interesting e-mails I received this week.
The first is from a viewer in Edmond who was perturbed with our coverage of the storms that damaged Piedmont and a large part of northwest Oklahoma City Monday night:
"I have never seen so much made of almost nothing. I am not the only one that feels that way. During the coverage you have actually come on from time to time to say; 'Nothing is happening'." --Phillip, Edmond
I've never come on and said nothing was happening, and secondly plenty was happening that night just ask the people of Piedmont and elsewhere.
Our top priority is to provide the fastest and most accurate local information to our viewers especially in a time of emergency.
And I know some times viewers just want to vent.
I got this e-mail with a request that may be above my pay grade so to speak: An irritated viewer wrote:
"First explain the definition of the word "uh"? This morning on Face the Nation David Axelrod used it almost every other word including "UH, UH, UH" so many times my husband and I left the room until he was off the air. --Viewer
Please get the word out.."
Uh... ok.
It's out, I hope that helps.
