STILLWATER, Oklahoma -- Oklahoma State point guard Reger Dowell has left the team, Cowboys' head coach Travis Ford announced in a press release Tuesday.
"We appreciate what Reger has done for us over the past two seasons," Ford said. "We wish him nothing but the best and wish him well in his future endeavors."
Dowell has played two seasons for the Cowboys, appearing in 53 total games, 11 this season. The junior was averaging 5.5 points and 1.7 assists per game, including a season-high 11 points in the Cowboys overtime win over UTSA.
Oklahoma State lists Keiton Page and Markel Brown as the probable starters for their Tuesday-night matchup against SMU in Dallas.
