An affidavit revealed new information surrounding the arrest of a former Moore Christian School's teacher accused of having sex with a student.
According to the affidavit, 64-year-old Gregory Saul gave the 14-year-old girl an adult gift last Christmas inside a classroom. The document shows she gave him a poem addressed to "my husband."
Saul also admitted he gave the teen a cell phone along with two rings, one of which was a promise ring.
The sexual relationship between the two started in August of last year, according to documents.
The student said Saul told her he was planning to marry her and take her to Mexico. Police also said during a search of Saul's bedroom, they found the poem and the girl's birth certificate.
Saul resigned from his teaching job in December. He is being held on $150,000 bond.
Saul will appear in court at 1 p.m. on March 6.
