OKLAHOMA CITY -- Good news for 100 or so southeast Oklahoma City residents.
They were facing a huge obstacle due to Monday's heavy rains. A bridge washed away on the only road that leads into the neighborhood.

With the bridge being out, residents were cut off from essential services.
Tuesday, a handful of contractors got assembled at the scene, and agreed to rebuild the bridge on Wednesday.
Normally, contractors say such a fix would cost at least $30,000. But the contractors are going to do it for free.
Brenda Rickman is one of the affected residents.
"Thank you Oklahoma. They're good people. You can't live in a better place," Rickman said.
