Sex offenders living in Cleveland County should expect a knock on their door Monday.

It's part of "Operation Spring Clean II," an annual sex offender compliance check conducted by the Cleveland County Sheriff's Office.

During the compliance check on April 9, officers will make sure all offenders residing in the county are in compliance with the Sex Offender Registration Act. They also will assess the offender's risk of possibly re-offending.

About 100 sex offenders are identified and registered in Cleveland County. Officers will update offenders' personal information and other key details if necessary. If any registrant is in violation, they will be subject to arrest.

Multiple agencies including the U.S. Marshal's Service, Probation and Parole, Norman Police Department, Moore Police Department and Noble Police Department will join CCSO in the compliance check.
