Midwest City Man Charged In Attack On Pregnant Woman

A Midwest City man is charged with domestic abuse after police say he attacked a woman who is pregnant with his baby.

Police are looking for 40-year-old Daveon Jackson. According to police, officers responded to the incident at about 6 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, at an apartment in the 3800 block of N. Shadywood Drive. The victim told police she is 11 weeks pregnant with Jackson's baby.

The victim said she got into a verbal argument with Jackson that day. She said Jackson became angry and began kneeing her in the back and sides. According to the police report, Jackson allegedly punched the victim several times in her head and her face.

The victim said she was able to get away and left the home for a while. When she came back, Jackson was still at the home. Police said that's when Jackson grabbed the victim's hair, and slammed her head into the wall.

The victim received more injuries, including a swollen and cut lip and a bloody nose. Jackson then trashed everything in the apartment and left, according to police.

Police said they are unable to locate Jackson at this time. However, according to the police report, Jackson has been charged three times in the recent months with domestic abuse/assault and battery in Midwest City.
