Police in Norman say anonymous citizens helped them catch a man with two felony warrants.

Scottie Kelley ran from police for more than a mile and police say they would have lost him if several people hadn't helped them.

"Unfortunately, officers did not have the time to obtain names from the people providing direction or to thank them, but you know who you are, and we greatly appreciate your help," said Captain Tom Easley in a press release. "These involved people help prove, once again, that crime prevention is not a spectator sport."

Kelley faces charges including child endangerment, drug possession, and driving under the influence.
