A Wellston woman who recently lost her husband of 55 years says she feels like she's being victimized again.
Bobbie Comb's husband Ed died of a heart attack on June 30 in the couple's home. Bobbie says Ed had been in poor health for years as a result of being exposed to Agent Orange during two tours he spent in the Army during the Vietnam War.
Bobbie can't understand why Brown Funeral Home in Luther hasn't been able to get any of Ed's doctors to sign his death certificate. Bobbie needs that signature in order to continue to receive Ed's military pension and a life insurance payout.
"I'm in limbo. I'm in limbo. I can't get anything done. I've got bills that need to be paid," Comb said.
Brown Funeral Home tells News 9 they have sent copies of Ed Comb's death certificate to all three of Ed Comb's doctors, and they refuse to sign it.
