A 15-year-old Capitol Hill High School student could be charged with arson after police say he started a fire in a school bathroom.
Fire alarms sounded at the Oklahoma City school on Tuesday, November 27. Someone had set some toilet paper in a boys' bathroom stall on fire. The principal was the first to find it and quickly put out the flames.
The school called police. An officer reviewed video taken by a security camera and discovered the 15-year-old boy was the only person in or around the bathroom at the time of the fire. Police arrested the boy on complaints of first-degree arson and arson endangerment.
No one was injured in the fire.
