Burglars targeted the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Mustang over the Christmas holiday.
The church has been targeted several times in recent years so it was another blow to the congregation.
Pastor Rick Carter of Lighthouse Baptist church said the suspects probably backed their car right into the front door of the church causing at least $5,000 dollars in damage alone.
Carter learned of the break in Wednesday morning.
"They hit these doors and it tore both these doors, just twisted them, shattered the glass. It knocked the wall at least an inch this way and two inches inside."
Carter figured it happened Christmas Eve because there were no tracks in the snow. Whoever broke in got away with some electronics and cash from a recent school fundraiser.
"Our teachers pretty much volunteer. We charge about a third of a normal Christian school charges and so we don't have a lot of funds to do the extra things like buying computers and things like that."
Carter and his congregations were left puzzled after the recent break-in that came just a couple days after thieves stole gas out of the school buses parked outside of the church.
"Confused and frustrated would be, you know, why is this happening?" he said. "They need help. We have a front door. And we invited them to come in any service and we do our best to try to help folks when they do have a need. So there might be a better way than just taking it. Maybe come in and ask for it."
