Suspect Arrested In Shooting That Locked Down OKC Elementary School

Oklahoma City Police have arrested a man accused in a shooting that put a northwest Oklahoma City Elementary School on lockdown.

Oklahoma City Police have arrested a man accused in a shooting that put a northwest Oklahoma City Elementary School on lockdown.

Spencer Davis, 20, was shot Tuesday afternoon at the Britton Courtyards Apartments at Britton and Rockwell. Two suspects ran from the scene after the shooting.

As a precaution, nearby Wiley Post Elementary School was put on lockdown.

Police received a tip Wednesday night that one of the suspects, 20-year-old Christopher O'Neill, was staying at a house in the 3500 block of N.W. 51st Street. Officers went to the house around 9:30 p.m. and arrested O'Neill.

A second suspect is still on the run.

Davis is still hospitalized.
