Romero Osby led Oklahoma to the NCAA tournament for the first time in four years and now, he's the first OU player to be drafted since 2010.
Osby was drafted by the Orlando Magic with the No. 51 overall selection in Thursday night's NBA Draft.
Osby wasn't expected to be drafted by most analysts, but worked out for many NBA teams since the NBA combine and impressed teams with his leadership and work ethic.
The Sooners leading scorer this past season, Osby averaged 16 points and seven rebounds to lead the Sooners in both categories. The first-team All-Big 12 selection led the Sooners to the NCAA tournament for the first time since 2009 where they fell to San Diego State in the first round.
