Multiple Crews Called To Battle House Fire In Del City

Del City fire crews battled a house fire in the 2600 block of S. Bryant Ave., Wednesday evening.

Firefighters were called to the scene at home located at 2624 S. Bryant Ave., near SE 24^th St., around 6:40 p.m.

Crews on scene say the fire was so intense they called in Midwest City and Oklahoma City fire departments in for assistance.

The first units arriving on scene say they saw heavy smoke and flames coming from the garage and a portion of the home adjacent to the garage.

Authorities say the fire started in the garage and then moved to the house. No firefighters were injured while battling the blaze.

No one was inside the home at the time of the fire. There is not damage estimate at this time. The cause is still under investigation.
