Police are investigating what appears to be an accidental shooting in northwest Oklahoma City that left a woman dead.
Just before 2 a.m. Monday, police were called to a home near N.W. 80th Street and the Broadway Extension. They found 53-year-old Cynthia Morris's body in the house.
Police questioned her husband, 57-year-old Bernard Morris. Police say he is the one who shot his wife, but it appears to have been accidental.
While police were questioning him, Bernard Morris began having chest pains. He was transported to Baptist Hospital and admitted. His current condition is not known.
Police say although the shooting appears to be an accident, they are conducting a thorough investigation.
