Travelers heading to Oklahoma City's Will Rogers World Airport will want to check on their flights before heading to the airport Friday.
Spokesperson Karen Carney says as of 6:30 a.m., eight departures and five arrivals have been canceled. Several other flights report delays, and Carney says more delays are likely to come until the weather improves.

Carney says flights at WRWA are also being affected by weather in other regions of the country, particularly Dallas which is also experiencing a winter storm. Weather problems in Detroit, New York, Newark and Chicago are also impacting flights.
Airport maintenance crews are continually treating and clearing the runways. Crews are also clearing sidewalks, parking lanes and roads at the airport.
American, Southwest, and United airlines are currently waiving change fees to allow customers to change their flights if they're scheduled to fly today. Anyone who is flying to or from WRWA is encouraged to check the status of their flight before coming to airport.
