Former University of South Florida point guard Blake Nash will transfer to Oklahoma Baptist after Christmas and begin play next fall.
Nash, a 6-0 point guard from Casa Grande, Ariz., was most recently a red-shirt at Texas Tech.
Nash played one season with the Bulls, getting into 34 games, including three starts. One of those was against Kansas. He averaged 3.7 points and 1.1 assists per game for USF, which reached the round of 32 in the NCAA Tournament.
He spent his first year at Williston State, earning second team NJCAA All-America status while averaging 22 points, 5.6 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 2.3 steals. He shot 55 percent from the field and 42 percent from three-point range.
Nash had offers from Georgetown, Oklahoma and Texas A&M after junior college.
Nash attended Chandler Basha High School in Arizona and Fairfax High School in Los Angeles.
